City of Newark


Located in the heart of Licking County, the City of Newark serves as the county seat for Licking County.  With a population of just under 48,000, Newark is not only Licking County's largest city but also the 20th largest city in Ohio.  The historic square in downtown Newark has undergone a massive redevelopment with reconstruction of streets, infrastructure, and a focus on developing a mix of uses within the downtown area. http://www.newarkohio.net/
